Jessie & Tom Lucas; Friends + Clients aka "Frients"

Are we already halfway through July?! What a crazy summer so far… and while everything has been going great with the new studio and the #TransVisibility project, I’ve also been up to some other cup-filling projects I wanted to keep you in the loop. It's always an honor for me to be asked to document any special moment.. but to follow a couple to three different states and capture three different important events, fills my cup TO THE BRIM.

My clients- are really my "frients" (Friends + Clients), a term that was coined by Amanda and Autumn in 2015 when this beautiful couple quickly became friends. My goal is to try to get you to feel comfortable enough that you can let down your guard and allow me to just document YOU...well, you and your person/people.

Jessie & Tom were fast frients, feeling comfortable from our first session. We've shared several milestones together, and I feel so honored and humbled to document them each and every time. Plus, I get to hang with Romeo (their kitty) who typically steals the show.

Jessie and Tom are awesome people first and foremost. I knew it from the start when I photographed their engagement shoot in 2019 here in Columbus.

From there, we signed on for their wedding as well, and I was so honored to document them on their special day in Nashville.

Annddddd, most recently, we had a pregnancy shoot in Pittsburgh!!! They have a little one on the way now :’). I feel so #blessed to share these moments with them, and help memorialize all these important times in their lives.

To be there with a couple, each step of the way, as they lay the foundations of their life together, I start to feel like part of the family. Your joys become my joys, and I'll come to join you where ever you are to celebrate them (Carmen Sandiago style.)
