On June 24th, 2017, Danny Grimsely asked his then-girlfriend, Caitlin Murphy, to be his wife. Danny's idea was for me to act like I was photographing his adorable little niece and sister, but then at the end of the shoot, he would surprise Caitlin with a ring. 

 

He got down on one knee.

Took her hand. 

Asked her to marry him.

She cried.

And then said, "yes."
